Week 6 Full Salvation / A New Community
In week six we examined how our relational journey, to be conformed into people who actually love, and not people who try to do loving things, is not just for ourselves or our close loved ones.  Being fully human in the image of God also entails becoming a loving community that is a source of welcome and healing to those they touch.

Week 5: Relational Repair / Forgiveness
In week five we explored the dynamics of relational repair.  Through softening and accessing deeper core emotions, the hurtful distancing cycle can be de-escalated.  Forgiveness is not just a feeling or something you either have or you don’t.  Forgiveness is a process that can be entered into by willing participants and can lead to deep understanding and healing.

Week 4 Attachment Cycles / Why We Fight
In week four we looked at how our attachment pattern causes us to interact with others in a reciprocal cycle.  One partner may anxiously pursue to maintain closeness while the other—to avoid hurt and to keep the relationship from falling apart, withdraws.  This pattern creates distance and hurt, but it can be addressed and repaired.

In week three we looked at how our relational experiences have shaped us into a distinct attachment style.  We cannot learn to live more fully alive in relational connection without addressing our attachment pattern and learned level of intimacy.

In week two we focused on our key relationships, our primary caregivers.  We are created for connection, even from the moment of birth.  These core attachments and the experiences that accompany them become the lens through which we see all other relationships.
